    Hi,

Just got a M11xR3 to compliment my Air when I travel and noticed that it has separate stereo and mic connectors. So, is there a way to use standard headset with stereo/mic jack with it, with mic working that is ?

    TIA

i have no idea what your asking, standard headsets come with 2 plugs, r3 has 2 audio output aswell as a mic, not sure why guess its for 2nd person watching something etc.

You dont have to use them both, Ive found myself with a normal pair of iphone headphones using the built in mic and the quality is good in comparison to my creative wow wireless headset

the two connectors are for higher definition equipment. Just use one and its fine.

Thanks - thats exactly what I was looking for. Built-in mic is not as convinient as a headset with in-line mic for long conference calls (I use Skype - conference call dial in is always a 800 number) and I already have a nice one for my iPhone and MacBooks.
