AFAIK, Iobit is under active investigation for IP/copyright infringement regarding at least 1 other of their software products. In light of this, I've decided to stay away from them until the issue is resolved.

A propos your question, it would seem that the results are mixed. Computers which benefit most from the software are older systems with memory problems.

I tried it out, and for certain games there is some basic benefit... but this is really pushing it. If you had an M11x-R1 with 2GB of memory..... maybe.... it might help a frame or two. All it really does is turn non-essential services and free memory, it obviously can't make your computer run faster.

Yet another sucker-tool of the "Increase your RAM" variety.

I've been using it since v1.xx, not really seeing any differences myself.

I used it at first a lot on my R2, but did not notice a single difference when I stopped using it. Better off without I'd say.

If you look at what the tool does, it stops processes which are not needed during gaming. This is usually a good thing. Depending on hardware or games you may not see an impact.

I still use the tool with my I7 and 5850. It certainly doesn't hurt anything.

Just remember for the m11x, every frame counts. If you gain 1 here, 2 there, next thing you know you gained 5 or 10 fps.
