Is anyone else experiencing massive amounts of blinking/flashing when using firefox 4 beta 6? It works fine in safe mode, but not in normal.

My first guess was the graphic acceleration stuff that used the gpu, but it happens on both the integrated and discrete cards on my R1.

I had this problem as well, I used to love firefox and it was the only browser I ever used but I had to switch to chrome because I just couldn't use it...

EDIT: Well I just reinstalled firefox then to test it out again with the new drivers I have and it was horrible, so I looked at the GPU monitor and it said firefox was using the GPU, so I changed the settings to make it so firefox used the integrated graphics and logged off, it was a bit better, as in it didn't flash and blink but it was very choppy and laggy, it's a shame really

Well it is still beta, I guess I'll keep using 3 on my laptop until another release of it.

BTW, Firefox 4 Beta 6 works great on my desktop.

I like firefox because I can sync bookmarks, passwords, open tabs, etc...between my desktop and laptop. I'm not sure if any other broswsers do all that..I could be wrong though.

Well you could disable hardware aceleration.

I also changed the settings on the nvidia panel so firefox use the IGP and it is working fine.
