so as some of you know I'm a new owner of R3, btw love it so far, really no issues. I'm enjoying killing dragons in skyrim ;)

BUT, I opened up alienrespawn and it stated on 5/22/2012 that it had run a test (guess I miss this one) and the hard drive had failed all sections of it, now mind you I don't have an issue, everything seems to be working fine. It said restart and try again. I did and ran it today (27th, same errors same thing (restart try again)

Should I be worried if everything is running smoothly?

I can post the entire log if you so need it, please forgive me in advance for my noobish behavior

Download and run Crystaldiskinfo let us know what it comes back with.

As it is still under warranty l would also give Dell support a shout, they will prob send out a new HD, also make sure you have a respawn backup.

    Regards.

    Health Status : Good

Crystal disk info is reporting the Disk as healthy :D

If you also check under: Control Panel : All Control Panel Items : Administration Tools : Computer Management : Disk Management.

You should also see the smart status of the Disk ie Healthy.

If you have any doubts l would contact Dell, however it would appear alienrespawn is showing false failures.

With that amount of errors l would expect windows to be detecting it.

    Regards.

@Andorany. Hi my name is Luis and I Work for Alienware, you can run a PSA Test to check if the Harware is damaged or not, just turn on the system and press F12 several times, then select PSA, PSA+ or Diagnostics and wait to see if there are any errors, if none are found then it may be just a software glitch. If you get any error during the PSA, please send us an e-mail to [email protected] including your service tag and phone number and a brief description of the issue and we will get back to you as soon as possible. #IWork4AW
