    hello,

    i have the latest nvidia driver (296.10 WHQL) on my alienware m11xr3 installed.
    the problem ist, that call of duty black ops and splinter cell conviction dont want to use the nvidia dedicated gt540m.

    i added a profile in the nvidia control panel for the two games but it dont helps.

    can you help me please ? have you found a solution for the problem.

    after adding the new profiles did you select nvidia card under those profiles?

    What i do is set the global setting to use nvidia card, so any app or game automatically uses the graphics card, when set to high performance. Never got an issue after that

    yes i selected nvidia card for those profiles and i tried the global settings too, but it doesnt helped...
