    cant run diablo 2?

    im trying on run diablo on my new m11x r2 (i5)

    when i try to run it the screen just jumps around then closes, i read the other thread about it and the solution was too set the intel settings too full screen but that didnt help. i tried to run as administrator but it didnt hel.

    any suggestions?

    ok now it runs but i only get audio and no video just a blank screen and it takes a while to start

    nope i got nothing. all i get is a little part of the blizzard logo but then it freezes and the sound continues and by the time it gets to the main menu its black

    Best bet might be to Google your problem. They might have it in a forum somewhere.

    ok here is how to play it right click on the diablo .exe on the desktop. go to properties

    under the shortcut tab there will be a section called "target:"

    it wil have the whole program/diablo/ thing and at the very end put -w
    make sure there is a space then -w it will run fine just not full screen

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe" -w

    so i speent a ton of time trying to figure out how to get it in full screen but no luck, it runs great with the tip i posted above but its just not full screen

    I gave up trying to run Diablo2 months ago on Win7. Dont seem to have a solution on Blizzard website.

    I play Diablo 2 in a XP vm (with VMware Workstation 7.1), full screen, no problems. I even have the high res hack. Download VMware Server (it's free) and try it, but Workstation has better support for 3D/DirectX.
