hey guys, I seem to have issues with my bluetooth.

every time i do a fresh install bluetooth fails to work and some how i miraculously get it to work after a messy driver trial and error.

now i've just fresh reinstalled my windows and i'm facing the same issue only this time i've screwed something up badly.

because the drivers just failed to load i've deleted the drivers from the device manager for both the microsoft bluetooth enumerator and the dell driver so i can reinstall it. now it keeps popping up as generic bluetooth device every time i delete it and when ever i try to force a driver in it it will then issue a code 10 error. I cant install the new driver because it cant detect the device and asks me to activate the bluetooth module (which i have as its linked with the wifi)

any ideas, im running windows 7 home 64bit? ( i dont want to reinstall windows again because its a major hassle)

I had this problem last month, on a m17x called and told them I needed a new bluetooth card, they sent me a new m17x now it did have some other issues, but call and ask for a new card. That should fix your problem. :D

the thing is , it is a new card. i basically have this problem since day one about a year ago and i've recently have my whole laptop replaced(literally every part replaced except for the battery)

it was working fine with old OS installation on new hardware
