Are you sure its turned on?
    FN+Alien FX.
Or launch Alienware Command Center and check the settings.

Is it just the keyboards backlight, or is it all of the lights?

I had the same problem earlier with the same laptop, I went down to the area where your laptop has the time, date, and other icons. One of the icons will be an alienhead logo, and when you hold the cursor over it, it should say "Alienware AlienFX: Alienware.ath" or something of the sort. Then, right click on this, and select "Enable Alienware AlienFX". The lights should turn on. :)

Did you just get yours and it doesn't work, or has it stopped working? I know some people have had issues where 'ALIENWARE' didn't light up that was caused by a loose connection, but I can't remember reading any similar problems with the keyboard. You may have to call support to fix it.

LEDS are burn't out. You could replace them your self. Or you can call Dell.

Do you guys have warranty? Call Dell, it could also be a loose connection.
