I've noticed that with alienFX colors, I've got a couple problems:

    1. In a small spot on the left shift button/ctrl/caps lock area - the keyboard lighting seems to be tinted red or orange. Not 100% different color, but you can clearly tell if the keyboard isn't red or a really deep color.

    2. The front "speaker boxes" appear very light blue when white.

    3. The alienware logo tends to be a little reddish as well.

    4. The wifi logo on the touch bar thing appears greenish.

Is this normal? Is there a fix for this, or is the unit damaged?

It isn't that big of a deal, just curious if anyone else has had a similar problem or if there is a similar thread for this issue that I couldn't find.

Well, I would say it's normal but I got it solved...

#1. Got it solved after changing to a new keyboard.
#2. After a replacement the issue is solved.
#3. and #4. The colour selected in AlienFX should exactly reflected on the logo.

Call support to get a replacement :D

My M15x has issues similar to yours. Maybe there's a problem with the board that controls the lighting. If it really bothers you and you are under warranty just give them a call.

Nice, I guess I'll just wait it out a bit to see if anything else breaks and have them come then.
