    Hello!
    I have m11x r1 laptop. bios version a05 (latest)
i buy in ebay unlocked sierra mc8781 wwan card
i setup card in wwan pci slot
my window 7 64 bit not detected this card
How can i resolve this problem???

this wwan module work on other laptop.

I think that alienware blocked wwan pci port.
on one forum I found information that wwan module will work on firmware version A04. but I can `t check it because I updated the firmware to A05 and I do not nashol An opportunity to make a downgrade.
I also found information that the m11x REV2 is a wireless point and click it wwan and values enable and disable. even though I risked but I tried to flash the bios from REV2 - A03 (latest). but to do this did not happen.

Incidentally, I installed two antennas for display. ))))

I am upset that can `t do anything ...

Maybe someone knows the answer to my question?

you can enable/disable wwan in Bios (there is an option for this purpose).

I use Sierra MC8775 with no problem (Bios A04) - Windows-7 64bit with HP drivers

    good luck
