do you think it will happen? i know Crysis 2 released a DX 11 patch as did Shogun: Total war 2 so will it happen with the Witcher for dx10? Im asking because its barely playable on my r1, i get the same framerates as the people in the Witcher 2 thread were complaning about but i know that most of my games get better FPS in dx10 as opposed to dx9.

I certainly hope so, but they are probably working on console versions for now. I just began playing this game and really like it. Just for kicks, I tried it on low settings, 1280 x 720 and using HD3000. I got about 11-12 FPS. What settings do you normally use to get the most visual fidelity while getting the highest FPS?

aww man, i set everything to low, gamebooster, GPU OC with volt mod, 1280 x 720 and i still barely beat out you, im getting 15-22 FPS with all that. i know that i actually got an additional 10 FPS in most of my games in DX10 and if I could just get half of that i could die happy

Well, I hate to break it to you, but I was getting that on the integrated card. Using the 540M, I get about 30 fps depending on the settings. It kind of sucks that anything below 1280 x720 on our M11x's gets that small box in the screen.
