Wireless disable keystroke doesn't toggle on an r3; prompts to disable WiFi/BT/3G requiring extra input; better way?

I am pleased to see that there is now an easy way to turn off the BT radio and 3G radio along with WiFi, but there needs to be a way to toggle without prompting and requiring further clicks and instructions. I had an r1 from early 2010 and added internal BT myself, so I don't know if it was missing software for this or if this is new/came later.

Anyway, I dont have 3G, I don't always want to disable Bluetooth, and I often disable WiFi after I launch a full-screen single-player game, so I'd still prefer to have an on/off toggle for WiFi. Actually, I don't have 3G *or* BT at the moment, but I plan to add it. This means that there is only ONE option, WiFi, and yet I still have to check/uncheck it manually. Isn't that the whole point of there being a keyboard shortcut? It should be so that I don't have to click through dialogs and make/confirm selections to disable it.

If they made it cycle through four options with an OSD overly and activate the action you left it on with a 1sec delay, I'd be happy (no need for additional mouse/keyboard input). For example, it cycles through these four options, Toggle Wifi, Toggle BT, Toggle 3G, and Cancel, then activates the one you leave it on. The current status would be displayed with each option. Honestly, I don't know how anyone could have changed it to the current method without seeing the flaws in it. the LEAST they can do is make it so that you aren't asked which when there is only one installed (WiFi).
