Just recieved my new M11x yesterday. Upon Windows 7 set up, the Dell 1520 found my Linksys 3000 5ghz network connection. I connected no problem. Then I went to the Dell website to download the latest drivers, including the 1520, now it cannot see the 5ghz network? It can see the 2.4ghz. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same problem here, it's just not supported to my belief, it's the same with my Dad's brand new ASUS laptop.

We have the Linksys 2000 just bought yesterday.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the driver. I have the latest driver for the 1520, but mine finds 5 ghz networks fine. Perhaps you should even revert back to the original driver if that's the one that worked right for you.

I was testing it tonight, trying various setting for the adapter and noticed it could see the neighbors 5ghz network. This told me it wasn't the adapter, it must be the router. I got into the router settings, set it to the 5ghs channel to 40MHz and changed the broadcast channel from auto to 44. Voila! It works now. When I am within 10 feet or so, 300mps!
