Hello. I was wondering anyone has this problem or knows how to fix it.

For quite a while now my wifi connection has been dropping Sometimes it just works fine. I will be playing games or doing other stuff and it just randomly drops. It can happen anywhere from every 30 minutes to over and hour. If I alt tab theres a yellow triangle on the wifi icon, and if I right click on it and troubleshoot it it fixes it. It says it restarted it and the default gateway wasn't available. Also once this starts my latency sometimes starts going up and down really high constantly.

I've googled the problem and tried everything suggested to fix it, and nothing has worked. Here's what I've tried.
-turned off "allow the computer to turn this device off to save power"
-set "minimum power usage" to disabled
    -set a static ip
-uninstalled the wireless device and let windows reinstall the driver
    -disabled ipv6

I don't think its the router or modem. My ipod continues to work when it happens. This never happens when I do stuff on my desktop (which is a wired connection). I'm wondering if maybe the wireless card is bad? What do you guys think?

No, I haven't changed anything. I've only had it for just over a month, so the drivers and stuff are all unchanged too.

I'm thinking about looking into upgrading the wireless card if I can't fix this. Anybody have any recommendations?

If only a month chase warranty repair, if no warranty just replace it. There are options others seem to like better than the stock card.
