I have the latest NV driver loaded (260.63) and the latest Intel driver (2202). The issue I am having and can't seem to find any info on is this.

If I shutdown the laptop or do a warm boot when the windows login screen comes up it's completely black with no image on the screen (including the mouse). I can approximate the area on the screen where the user login icon is and I can log into the machine using that. When the desktop comes up the mouse appears to be on another monitor. I have NO external display attached. When I go into display properties it shows a phantom display. I can disable this display with no effect on the system but if I reboot it will reappear. And the cycle starts again.

Is anyone else having this issue and if so does anyone have a clue how to resolve this?

Do not use that driver, I had the same issue and could not fix it, use the 260.89, it has better performance and does not have that ghost monitor bug or what ever that problem is

I would personally stay away from the 260.xx series for now. They currently are fairly buggy in exchange for a minor performance boost. Currently i am using 259.22 which are rock solid with optimus and will stick with them until the 260.xx series goes through a few more revisions.
