I use Windows 8 and have made sure all my drivers are up to date. Can anyone help me figure out why I can't connect to any wireless network? I should note that my girlfriend's Toshiba laptop, also on Windows 8, her mom's Dell, Windows XP, her dad's Dell, Windows XP, my iPhone, her dad's iPhone, and her iPhone can all connect with no issues.

It's possible you installed a faulty driver. I know the driver page for the M11x has several wireless driver downloads, and you could have downloaded the wrong one.
-
Before installing the driver make sure you completely remove the previous versions (Check device manager under "Network Adapters"). -

Did it work fine on Windows 7? It's probably just a non-working driver. Try the latest one from Intel and the one available at DELL.com one at the time.
