I'm looking to restore my old M11x R1 and I really need a new battery. Where can I buy one? I checked the Dell and Alienware websites and couldn't find anything.

You could look on ebay, as there are always people selling parts there. Most M11x batteries, however, go for a base price of 60 dollars, with costly shipping on top.

What's an acceptable wear rate for battery? I'm at 20% is that normal?

Depends on how long you've had the battery and how frequently it was being used.

About 2 years, I have it off the charger 2-3 times a week. Rarely full drain.

That sounds right about average. 20% is definitely on par with what you've listed.

After scouring the internet for a place that sells the batteries, I think e-mailing Alienware is my best option right now.

I'm waiting to get it back from getting the hinges fixed before I inquire about a new battery.
