    m13? I take it you just mean the 13? Or I might not know which machine you are talking about, is there an older m13x ?

    Incase it is the 13 you're talking about, I believe the answer is plastic. Although it's part of the exact same "design language" it doesnt feel nearly as solid as it big brothers the 17 and 18 when you pick them up. I don't actually know though.

    The display cover is supposed to be carbon fiber, while the rest of the system is supposed to be plastic. It's not going to be aluminum/magnesium alloy like the rest of the line-up.
