    Hey guys,

Every few seconds my HDD's performance dips. Do you know what is going on? And how I can correct this.
    Thanks! :)

There's definitely some background task(s) accessing the hard drive. Open up resource monitor to see what they are. To minimize disk activity when idling, I disabled a bunch of non essential services and scheduled tasks.

Check processes with disk activity in Resource Monitor.

My disk seems flat access wise with only 33C temp.

    Thanks a lot guys :)
I found the problem. It was CPUID Hardware Monitor.
Now I'm getting the right graph again.
Although it does suck that that program uses so much disk speed :S
