So basically i want to start a thread of the games you can't get enough of on the m11x and why you love it so much. Since i work full time. go to school part time, and have a gf who takes up more time than both, I have to be picky with what games i get to squeeze into the precious time given. So i'm think we each list our top 3 games

For me, i'm obsessed with Borderlands. It's the first game since diablo 2: lod that i truly haven't gotten tired of playing . It combines my 2 favorite genre's of games. shooters and rpg's. the humor is fresh and the 3 good DLC's( not including moxxi's) it adds even more fun. I know there are many people who don't like the art style, but i think it's great. nothing is better than watching someone's head explode from across the map with a sniper. All while the word Critical comes from where the head is supposed to be.

Torchlight is another game that fills a hole in my heart for D2 and for WoW. just for the fact that all my d2 disk got lost when i moved houses and i refuse to play wow again b/c i enjoy having a life. You all know about torchlight and how fun it is. but some of you might not know the huge modding community behind the game. from creating new classes. character models, texture models, even a mod to control the camera so you can play in 3rd person instead of isometric. The game is great. has plenty of depth and is worth the price since it's constantly on sale on steam.

Mass Effect 2. Enough said. The game is perfection. The only gripe i have is i wish the cover system was set up more like Splinter Cell: Conviction, which is another great game. but none the less the game is absolutely amazing and everyone should own and play this game.

Hmmm... Champions-Online is my love - I can't get enough of graphically designing super-heroes and working out effective power sets.

Playing Star Trek Online because I am a lame geek ;)

Then of course, Battlefield 2: Bad Company.

An oldie but a goodie - Tropico!!!

Right now Dirt 2, Supreme Commander 2 and Red Faction Guerilla

I love open world/sand box games, I played over 60 hours each, The Saboteur, Just Cause 2, inFAMOUS, Red Faction Guerilla, Fallout 3/NV, Oblivion, etc.

Starcraft 2 - why? It's extremely versitle map editor makes it more than just a RTS - it's many, many games in one.

Battle field 2 still. Love the 64 players per map deal... way better than 32 players now.

I'm actually not addicted to any games!

I tried getting back into Minecraft, but I just don't get the same feel as I did when I had my desktop.

Though I am enjoying Insurgency... when I do play it, I'll be on it for a little over an hour. Such a great mod.

Mass Effect 2, on my I think 8th playthrough crafting my perfect Shepard in anticipation for ME3.

The Witcher, took awhile to get started but once the story started to get going I can't stop.

Dragon Age: Origins & Awakening, playing through some different user created mods and creating my ideal character to get ready for Dragon Age 2.

Fallout: New Vegas. Simply put, I'm a "Post-Apocalyptic" freak ! Gameplay never gets old and with so many different endings, it really makes you feel a part of the game.

As for WoW, took a break after 1 1/2yrs and probably won't go back for the same things listed..addicted! I did try it out to see the graphics/race changes in Cata .. ran great, but with the zoom-out mod, I couldn't even see my guy on this small small screen!

I "tried" WOW and it was very nice although I just had the trial account, but then I tried and got hooked on Guild Wars--no expansions yet--and it's great so far (I already had the game unopened from a previous computer.)

I can always get into a good COD4 multiplayer too when the mood arises. Plays great on native res/high settings.

    1) Geometry Wars Retro Evolved-very addictive. Crazy amount on screen at once. The enemies are relentless. It's a great feeling blasting through a screen full of enemies. It's £1.49 on steam at the moment and totally worth it. You do need a 360 controller though.
    2) Mass Effect-just purchased 1 & 2 from the recent Steam deal and already racked up 30 hours! Great storyline and very immersive.I'm going to work my way through both so I have a good character for ME3, I hope it will run well on M11X.

I have never touched WOW and I never will as I know I would get addicted!

    Try to mix my addictions
Operation Flashpoint: Resistance (older than hell, but tons of mods) and the most realistic FPS I have seen.. bullets vs sound speed, all kinds of little details no one seems to get right anymore
BF2, just got a copy again from the steam sale... Gotta love it
    New Vegas
    Boarderlands
    Starwars, Empire at War
    Killing Floor
    Defense Grid:the awakening
    and some DOW 40k

Pretty much needs to be multi player to keep my attention for very long..

It's kind of like Diablo II with guns but much less clicking (in a way) involved. I played the crap out of it on Xbox and I had it installed for awhile on my R1. It seems like the game's specs are way too high for what it looks like, though.

@filmm - Borderlands is so good that it's one of the few games that my wife and I played coop all the way till the end on the 360 when it first released. I purchased it a few weeks ago for pc and I need to install it again.

Think of an FPS with variable loot drops like Diablo2. Over 100,000 weapon possibilities. Seriously. Its a good shooter and a neat environment. A fun worthwhile game.

    Best Wishes, StevenX

Borderlands is amazing. like everyone said. it's diablo 2 with guns. the classes are diverse enough to give a different play through with each character.it has dungeons, loot, tons of enemies and gives a good open world feel. my only gripe is everthing is the same color. the levels start to look the same after a while. but don't let that deter you. i did 2 playthroughs on 360 and i'm on 2 playthroughs with 2 characters now. i have an R1, i play with high textures. low foliage. medium everything else and everything turned on except shadows. and i enjoy the experience thoroughly. it's on sale for 13 bucks on steam. if you like rpg's and fps go on a limb and get it.

i have to say i like the older elder scrolls especially morrowind it has lots of hidden items and just an open world to explore
i also play oblivion but i felt it was lacking compared to morrowind and the only way i play oblivion is with the 40gb of mods
atm im on dragon age preparing for the new one like everyone else

DAO: the first game installed on my R1 and it lasts ever since. Best RPG for years.
Borderland, never thought I would like this kind of game, but was addicted of creating new guns.
NFS series: the hot poursuit 1 was my favorite, and the HP2 is just amazing (yes, totally fluid on my R1 with everything maxed out).
Virtua Fighter 4 evo (with FCX2 emulator), so realistic and so much fun.

Yeah, like people said, the gun creation is great, and The Bosses are pretty epic looking, and the leveling system in a FPS is a lot of fun, Plus the special abilities and mods for the abilities ad a nice twist as well. I have no trouble at all running it on my R2.

I'm playing batman AA atm, it's a exciting game. nowadays, honestly, there are not any good games make me interested in. I'm still looking for a game which drives me mad and makes me annoyed to stop playing when I havent finished it yet, something like NOX, FALLOUT 1-2, commandos serries.
