My number one favorite right now is definitely Street Fighter 4. I just can't seem to get enough of this game. I also plan on picking up Two Worlds 2.

I'm also grinding my teeth in anticipation for the next Elder Scrolls. Skyrim FTW.

When mine arrives, I was going to do WoW, Civ V and Command & Conquer Generals/3/4 as my main games.

I'm still trying to get a confidence boost on how well the R1 can handle Civ V. Some say it's fine, others say it's bad. Talking end-game ...if anyone cares to enlighten me :)

Lots of DCU Online right now. It plays great on the R1, all settings at max, smooth as silk.

    My games:
    - Batman AA (finished it a month ago)
    - Blazblue Calamity Trigger
    - Darksiders
    - Left for Dead 2 (altho I play it more on my M17x)

did a bit of Dead Rising 2 as well.

I mainly use the M11xR2 as a portable XBOX360 when travalling (always playing connected to a HDTV via HDMI in 1080p rez). As a matter of fact, my xbox went on ebay as I don't use it anymore...
So far I'm very pleased by the gaming experience on this machine :D

Dead Space 2 is gold on this laptop. Risen is pretty fun too. F.E.A.R. runs great and Resident Evil 4 plays pretty nice with a wired 360 pad. I also picked up Warriors Orochi and it plays pretty good too.

You got that right. Dead Space 2 plays almost flawlessly. I never heard of Warriors Orochi though. I'll have to look into that one.

Left 4 Dead 2 and Borderlands work great on my i5 R2. I have been playing those a lot lately.

I have also been playing Tales of Monkey Island (the newest one) quite a bit. With everything maxed out, my M11x does not even break a sweat.

You in the Beta? If so send me a pm and let me know how the game is...I'm really looking forward to that one, and hoping not to be dissappointed.

But to stay on topic I've been playing:

    EVE Online
    Heroes of Newerth
    SC 2
    Dragon age: Origins
    Mass Effect 2
    Sins of a Solar Empire

All on high setting, no problems (I just turn AA off and everything is smooth).

Pretty much anything and everything here. I'm spending vast amounts of time right now in Rift, along with Minecraft, but as I said in another thread I adore older games on the M11 (Baldurs Gate, Icewind, Oblivion etc).

    Mainly LOTRO... on and off

but l picked up Baldur's Gate 2 from GOG a couple of weeks back and been playing it almost every night :)

Dont even have to switch to Nvidia to play. Going to pick up Icewind Dale series after I complete the BG2. Its something about these old games.. its just more fun than some of the current games that are released these days

Nehrim - An oblivion mod, completely changes the map(8x bigger), story(which is fantastic) and overhauls the graphics making them even better(view distance is incredible) along with a much better hub/ui. Also 100's of new spells and weapons/armour/races I'm about 130 hours in now and have been loving every single minute - although the language is only in German, which may put of some. It makes the immersion all the deeper for me(english subs and text)

Finally when I'm not traipsing around Nehrim I'm on Crysis 1&WH, Both Mass effects, and of course Legend of Zelda OOT(with high def texture pack)

I love my M11x more than a fat kid loves cake!!!

    Okay, don't laugh:

    • Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne
    • Battlefield 1942 Desert Combat
    • Flash games
    • KotOR (probably)
    • Jedi Academy

I also plan on working a lot. I enjoy playing through newer games, but I always come back to W3, 1942, and Jedi Academy, because they are cheap enough that my buddies and I can afford them. I have pretty much $0 video game budget.

supposedly the 266.58 nvidia drivers fixed the issues with final fantasy xi, can't confirm due to maintenance.

on topic: i mostly play final fantasy xiv (it's playable, not expecting anything more) - the rest of these run flawlessly: eve online, champions online, quake live, megaten, and a bunch of chess.

    1) Throttlestop
    2) New nvidia drivers (265.90 I believe was specifically released to fix the Direct X 8 problem.)
    3) Crank those video settings back up.

Make sure you have these ready when they turn the servers back on tomorrow. The r2 handles FFXI beautifully now.

EDIT: Yeah, my vote for FF11! :) FF14 was a flop, but I haven't deleted my character yet.

HA, I'm with ya on the oldschool games.. Seems like all the flashy graphics sometimes leave a hole in the actual gameplay.. I have dove way back recently with a few:

Operation Flashpoint (MP w/the new custom mods, one combines C&C style with FPS.. loads of fun with some friends)
    Dungeon Keeper 2
    C&C Generals
    Battlefield 2, and 2142
Dawn of War 40k Dark Crusade
StarWars Empire at War (only for the multiplayer)

but for a few new(er) thoughts..
Dead Rising 2 (multiplayer online is a blast with a friend :D )
    Boarderlands
    Fallout New Vegas
..just picked up Darksiders off the steam sale..

will have to try that, i use throttlestop set tdp30 tdc30 multiplier 10.0, not sure what i should be setting it but i been reading what setting people use and that gave me better wPrime than any other settings i used off of other people, i use msi afterburner 550 1320 900, driver 260.99 since thats the only driver that wouldn't make my starcraft2 heat up to 80C which i dont think is safe. i tried 266.58 but it bsod on front mission evolved, and 267.24 bsods on SC2. i always have to switch a different driver each time i play a different game. but i will give that 265.90 a try if i can find it.

now i will be playing CRYSIS 2!!! since that tsunami messed up my FF11 gametime.

Without 265.9 or later, you're not going to get FFXI working well. I didn't do anything special in throttlestop. Have you looked into the underclocked graphic card fix for those crashes? I believe that thread is still stickied.

I'm logged in FFXI now, I wish you the best of luck.

I've been playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. I finally beat Call of Pripyat again so now I'm playing Shadow of Chernobyl again with Complete 2009. Also playing StarCraft 2 and the good old emulators with a USB controller.
