    Webcam not detected and non working since in bought my m11x

    Hi all,

    I'm very happy about my new labtop but i have a problem with the webcam it's not detected by windows. It never worked. the webcam is considered as a unknown perepheric. the mic is working by the way. Can you help me?

    I had this problem too on my alienware m15x, but damn i forgot what i did... cant you try and install the driver? you can also try and contact dell. and the webcam on facial recognition is all pixelatet if anyone knows what thats all about. Btw if i remember what i did ill post it : )

    In my Device manager i have a device under "Imaging devices" called integrated webcam, try and check if you have that device.

    I'm a bit busy in these days but I'll try. If you can give me your help it would be soooo nice! Someone else has a solution please, that's so insane buying a brand new labtop with some issues like that...

    On this website when i try to install the webcam's driver it says that my webcam is not found how can i activate it?

    That's the driver page for the Latitude E6410. Not the M11x.

    I tried writing the support chat when it happened to me but they helped jack . but if you dont have a webcame device under device manager, then thats probably the problem. then you just need to find a proper driver...
