***CONFIRMED THIS IS A FIX FOR DISCONNECT ISSUE WITH ALL DELL/INTEL WIRELESS ADAPTERS***
(If you are having this particular disconnect issue)

Follow these steps if you your wireless adapter frequently disconnects:
(***NOTE: This fixed the issues I was having on my DW 1520 Card. Thats all I can confirm***)
    Code:
    1. Go to '[B]Device Manager[/B]'
    2. Under '[B]Network adapters[/B]' tab you should see your wireless card
    (i.e. for me it's 'DW1520 Wireless-N WLAN Half-Mini Card')
    3. Right-click and go '[B]Properties[/B]'
    4. Click the '[B]Power Management[/B]' tab and [U]uncheck[/U]
'[B]Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power[/B]'
    5. Press '[B]Ok[/B]' and close.

Yes, the same settings apply to all the intel 5xxx and 6xxx wireless cards.

    Great find though.

No problem glad to help. Its strange this setting isn't disabled by default as it causes so many issues in the DW1520 card and others..

Dang it :p Too bad this wasn't around a couple months ago when I had my 6200. I got fed up and returned it.

    Thanks, MasivB!

My m11x was working as intended, but this method fixed the issue with my Vaio. Who would have thought...
