Is this possible? I know that people have put better wifi cards in the R1 in the past, but is it possible to slip one of the WIDI enabled ones in there and get that to work?

I was planning on upgrading my WIFI card anyway and I figured that I might as well get the latest and greatest while I am at it. If anyone has any suggestions for me that would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I put the intell 6200 card in mine, works way better than the stock dell card.

Got the 6200 in mine too, fast. The 6300 is the fastest that fits.

OP, be aware that the 6300 does fit, but it has 3 (three) antennas to get full use of the card. You can just buy a extra ant and install it, or if your screen has wwan ants you can use one of them. Or you can install it using the 2 that are in there.

I purchased a 6200. I just figured that something may have come along that is better. I did read up on the 6300 and I didn't want to add an additional antenna.

Came in today and I am going to install it tonight. I am pretty excited. I was (_) This close to bringing it to work today, lol. I will do a little write up on there to see how it compares... In case anyone is interested.

When you install it, please let me know if you have any driver signing problems.... after I installed SP1 my computer will no longer let me install the 6200 drivers.

I was shipped a faulty card... Ugh... Back to stock for now.

Can anyone confirm that the Intel 6250 works in our systems?
