So I just restored to factory settings a week or so ago. Fired up Fallout NV today for the first time post-format. Before I was playing on high settings, now im playing on medium.

Anyone know what the issue is?

Some people have reported on some occasions setting the resolution to 1360 x 768 in the game greatly improved frame rates vs. 1366 x 768. Reason being, 1360 x 768 is a perfectly square pixel whereas 1366 x 768 is not. I haven't played Fallout 3 or NV so I'm not sure that's a setting in-game. The only other thing I can think of is, anti-alias and all the other little goodies may have turned on when previously you'd shut them off.
