I have an M11x R1 and randomly today while playing LoL it took an incredibly long amount of time to load (about 10 minutes), which is nowhere near normal. Then, when I finally got into the game, I had terrible frames (around 5). It seems to be the problem with all my games, but not with any other program.

Yes, I've got the right graphics card selected. Yes, it's on high performance battery mode. Any ideas?

As you've already pointed out the obvious that you're using the discreet 335m correctly fn+F6 then you might be suffering from the same thing that I had.

I found a running process in my task manager that was hogging 50% of my CPU related to apple itunes, as soon as I killed it my laptop came back to life. After I realised that running processes had such an effect on my R1's performance I kept a close eye on my task manager, making sure that my CPU idles after 5 minutes from start up around 1 - 5%, just the little blips from running services.

Check it out, it could be the same issue? :D

Are you overheating? M11xs are known for collecting dust really quickly.

If you want a quick solution if cleaning doesn't work, most likely a clean install will work.

No unusual tasks hogging up resources and my temps seem very cool (around 40c). It just happened randomly...
