I dont think anyone has made a video of the actual act its self. but there are a ton of pics and info on how to do the mod in the first few posts of DavyGT's pinmod thread. you basically just solder a resistor from a 3.3v point to PIN7 (if you want 2.0ghz). not kuch to really show if i had a good camera and a sidekick i could do the video. but i affraid my droidX camera wont help anyone in this department. the "camera" is ok but the "camcorder" sucks for detailed close ups... :(

What part are you guys lost on?

I'm not entirely lost. I just don't want to mess up his computer. The more visuals the better. I've been procrastinating it for a while. I'm in no rush to do it personally. :p He just plays WoW and APB so those run fine without the OC. Hes just wanting a 5 extra fps ontop of everything.

In the same boat at the moment, wanting to do the pin mod just find DavyGT's thread a little bit daunting!

I made a "cliffs notes" version that basically compiles all the info we have learned along the way in huge pinmod thread.

the link is in my sig. its very easy to navigate and just about awnsers every question people have. if you want to give it a shot... it has pics too.

I took the time to make that post for this very reason. i hope it helps. :)

I've had a read but still doesn't feel like a newb guide! It's a good post don't get me wrong but doesn't actually give any steps from start to finish.

Why not pay a local tech 20-25$ to do it?

Local techs generally charge 20$/per 30 minutes of work.

Better to fork over the cash then to potentially destroy your 500-600$ investment :p
