Hello, is there an easier, less time consuming way to update the drivers on this beautiful machine? I find going through the official dell page a headache and time wasting. Any thoughts or tips would be appreciated

They don't update the drivers that often . LOL Plus you'll find this little bugger goes out and checks every once in a while .

If it works, don't fix it. If your anal about certain functions/features then you can always look up the specific part through the manufacturer. Alienware does not really spend alot of time updating R1 drivers when they are not even using the same chipset anymore.
