With the release of BF3's Beta, I cant join any server. When I attempt to joina server, I get a "Directx D3D error" Because my Intel HD card is apparently trying to start the game instead of my Nvidia card.. What can i do?

Have you tried manually switching to the Nvidia card from the Nvidia Control Panel to see if that solves the problem?

As far as fullscreen, you have to have the game up and running first, then press alt+enter.

Je kan inderdaad het spel starten door alleen twee dingen te veranderen in je regedit, maar je moet er veel meer veranderen om verdere errors te voorkomen!

You can in fact start the game by only changing two things in your regedit, but you have a lot more to change in order to avoid further errors!

I believe login server was down during that time, it is fixed already.
Also to get fullscreen, there is an option ingame to be fullscreen once game starts.

This is what I was trying to fix when I turned off my graphics card by accident lol, I fixed it now.

The problem was that my Intel card was trying to run the game, instead of Nvidia.

So I went to my Nvidia Contorol Panel, View -> Advanced
Then under 3D settings, Choose Managa 3D Settings, Program Settings, then I changed the Preferred Graphics Processor for FireFox, Origin, And Battlefield 3 (bf3) (all from your programs list). I applied those changes and it works for me now, hope it works for you too, good luck!
