    My m11xr2 isnt using turbo..i got Cpu-Z open its staying at 1.8 turbo is enabled in the bios so is speed step any 1 have a soulution to this problem

    that's not a good test. Tried running prime or something very taxing on the machine at the same time? A major game in windowed mode for example?

    You should also be able to notice first hand. Like opening up an application like itunes after you have done nothing on the computer(activates turbo) then opening up a different program. You should notice a speed difference between opening up that program with and without itunes. At least I do.

    Also, make sure you're not overclocked when testing. If you OC chances are you'll get a momentary turbo boost but then get throttled almost immediately because you surpass the TDP/TDC limits.
