What are your settings for this program if any of you use it?

I cant see to get the multiplier any higher than 10.

What are your TPA/ TDC set as?

Doesnt work like that for the I7 UM series. Only the high end 920/940's have the ability to adjust the tdc.

    Good Idea though...

lol so i feel that throttle stop does help with FPS problems i encounter with counter strike source. The frame rates still drops but not substantially that low anymore...But can i still stop this from happening? Maybe its the GPU that is throttling?

i need to play for a bit. Basically the problem in depth is:

you can lets just say start off with 100 fps....you play for 10 minutes its now at 60...you play for 30 minutes its at 15 fps o_o ...its not any place in particular its just happens everytime. I hear many MANY people on this forum complain about this problem and nobody has a solution.

I am going to play for a bit to see if i notice the drop anymore...if not i will confirm this as the FIX.

I am using the optimization without throttlestop for those who are interested.

update: the problem still exists and nobody has solved it yet...throttlestop has relieved the problem slightly ...:/ but this is bad...it drops down to 30 fps instead of 15 with your solution

This issue was driving me crazy, I have found that uninstalling the realtek audio drivers appears to fix the problem. I also have audio quality set down to medium rather than high.

I can now play for about an hour and sit at around 60 fps without dropping down to 15 fps like it used to.

    Hopefully this works for you.

i never had this problem on my R2 but i'm not sure if this will solve your problem. try going to advance power settings, then look for minimum power state. change the value setting minimum power state when plugged in to 100%. i was staring on my CPU-Z for minutes at a time and my multiplier never go down to below x16 when it's idle. i'm not sure if that'll solve your problem but it's worth to try :)
