I was just curious if there is some kind of built in program with Windows that tests if all the hardware devices built into the system are working fine, including the logic board and/or daughterboard (?)? If not in Windows, would there be one from the Bios?

Hirens boot CD has a lot of stability tests - you can also use it from a flash drive, find some manuals online.

But mostly its just the good old stress tests.
