Hey guys, I've been having some problems with the newest drivers from NVIDIA 266.58 and I've noticed some graphical drops and framerate issues, is anybody else having this problem? Also completely unrelated I've been having extreme lag on servers that would usually never lag. I would normally have 30-80 ping on most servers but now all the servers are at 200+ even 400+ including my favorites which are normally 30-80 ping, I have peerblock with valve servers whitelisted but even then things ran fine. Could it be the new update or what? PLEASE HELP

Revert back to the previous driver and see if the FPS issue is still there. If its not, then you know its the driver. Also, disable peerblock and see what happens to your ping. If its fine, then you know its an issue with peerblock.

    Pretty easy to troubleshoot.

Yeah it was the 266.58 drivers, messed up the FPS by a whole lot. Disabled peerblock but the ping issue is still there :\

There is no possible way that the video drivers would impact the ping. I'm on 266.44 without any issues on TF2, Starcraft, CS:S, and NFS Hot Pursuit.

Nobody said the video driver was impacting ping. ;)

Obviously, it wouldn't that's why I said "COMPLETELY UNRELATED". I'm saying my ping has been really bad lately and that the video drivers were affecting max graphics settings and other stuff ;)

Just want to be sure, you are talking about Ethernet or Wireless connection? If wireless, did you recently change drivers?

What I meant, have you recently changed your wireless driver for the 11x? If so, perhaps roll that back as well.

Here's a really simple test - disconnect from wireless and plug in via ethernet. Check your pings again. if better, then focus on the wireless driver/settings/etc.

Everything seems to be fine for now at least. I'll let you know if something comes up again.
