    Hi guys,
I recently discovered that there might be hardware issues with either my mobo or my HDD(kinda unlikely). I started receiving HDD errors on Win7 and I decided to head to BIOS and noticed there was no HDD recognized.

So I switched from AHCI to ATA mode in the BIOS and the hard drive appeared  . The problem now is whenever I proceed to windows, BSOD appears while loading and system restarts so I'm forced to go back to AHCI mode and have that annoying popup appear whenever I start Win7(64-bit).

I scanned the Hard Drive using different tools from the windows checkdisk utility, formatting, HDD Regenerator, etc. and shown no errors.

I can still play games normally lol. My warranty has been expired for a year already.

Anyway, is there a way to switch to ATA mode without formatting? Thanks.

EDIT: Oh I found the solution, nvm about my post lol.
