    Hey guys,

so a couple days ago my m11x r1 just started running really slow on black ops, i thought, "oh its just black ops" but then i tested 5 other games and FPS dropped drastically, to the point that it is unplayable. I defragged, and virus check 5 times. It was working tuesday, i came home wednesday, then it was just horrible.

Check to see if your cooling intake fan is clogged with dust.

Run ThrottleStop in Monitoring mode and create a Log File so you can go back and have a look at your CPU performance after you are finished gaming. If the CPU is not throttling then you need to run a GPU-Z log file and check for GPU throttling too. Also look in the Task Manager and make sure that nothing is hogging your CPU.

I am not familiar with "game booster" but I would suggest not using it.

If you need to disable services do so in 'services.msc'

And what I've heard it maybe frees up only 20MB's of RAM if your system is configured properly with no bulk.

Perhaps maybe there is some dust in the fan. I would take a look at that.

iv been using game booster for years.

I DO suggest using it. its a quality piece of software. also, btw, i use game booster and used msconfig to disable everything. i went from 900mb usage down to less then 400mb at times.

Meh sounds like a noob program to me. Nothing a user can't disable themselves.
