    Stereo only on new mx11??

    Need some advise. I'm a new guy. My question is this. I have the 5.2 option showing up in sound options but when I test sound it only comes out stereo. The 5.2 test only comes out in stereo during soundbtest. Whstbam I doing wrong?

    Do you have 5.1 speakers hooked up to all 3 headphone jacks?

    No. Just the headphones and they work in 5.1 but I was just testing the laptop speakers. On my mx15 it works but not on mymx11. Just in stereo it works. ??

    The built in speakers are not 5.1.

    By the way all of this is being done under sound test in sound program on windows. It worked on my mx15 under same conditions but not the same on mx11 laptop speaker set up. But it sounds great but will only do stereo mode when using mx11 speakers only. The headphones I have work great under 7.1 due to using program that came with headphones using the mx11. ...
