Just threw up a vid of Space Marine on the baby alien : Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine, on the M11x. - YouTube
I was really surprised to see how incredibly well optimized this game is.
-
did you get any stuttering in the sound with large groups? i had it with the demo and know a few more people have.
-
Nope- no stuttering at all. Haven't tried it on an R2 here yet.

Just for those who use external monitors like me: The Demo plays perfectly in 1080p on the R3.

Your commentary is classic froogle, love it!
Looks like it played very smoothly, even for a sub $1000 netbook... -
Awesome Thank You Yes he does have awesome commentary. How did you son love his new R2?
-
Anther good vid, thanks and + rep. Love your commentating too XD
-
Thanks so much guys - you're all awesome.
Ethan (my Son) loves the R2. Apparently he's been telling all his teachers at school that he's got an all powerful baby alien at home. -

I'm downloading the demo now from the UK and will test it out on my R2.
Due to companies complaining again about digital distribution rights, it's not available in the UK.
If you're interested in trying to demo, use:

Currently downloading the Demo my R1 , will review soon

Edit : Download finished on R1
The games runs fine ( really ! ) at native resolution with high graphics , VSync and all , i stay above 30 fps ( can lower to 24 with HUGE fights ) , but it's still pretty and runs great ! Seems like , at native resolution, putting everything on low doesn't really improve FPS, just a bit you go to 35 , and the game is still beautifull. The screen size help a lot.
The only problem that i have is the sound sttutering , but changing values like someone said on page 1 seems to do nothing ... Did a few search on the internet, seems to be a game issue as many people have it ...
Sounds bad, hope this will get fix so we had a great game to play !
M11X R1, EVGA for FPS check but no GPU overclock, CPU overclock ( bios enable , no pinmod or else ) , SU7300 and 4GBram. Just like if you buy a fresh new M11X. If someone is intereseted, i can upload a video ( and try it on HDTV video out for ex ) -
HELLO THIS IS FROOGLE!!!
