I attempted to install a Windows 7 theme I found on the internet, and I did something terribly wrong in the process... upon start-up, I get a prompt message saying that "SHELL32.dll is missing from your computer".

What do I do now? I need my laptop for college in 3 days.. I don't have time to send it away :( someone help me..

Does this missing file prevents you from using the laptop? The first thing I'd do would be to search and download the file to your system. You might've downloaded this theme in the wrong folder.

go buy an external cd/dvd drive, load in your disk that came with the m11x. Boot into bios change boot sequence to boot from cd/dvd f10 save exit. when it asks press any key to boot from cd.... then select repair when there is an option for it.

OK I started messing around in the F12 section, and eventually got some "Start-up Repair" thing, crisis averted.. Backing up all my files right now! :)
