I've read posts from awhile ago, but I haven't found anything thats updated. Is Ubuntu working good on the M11x? Are there any major problems? Do the keyboard lights work? Also, for anyone who has it installed, can you check/guess how much HD space it takes up?

If I do install it, what would you recommend that I get along with it?

Hopefully someone replies soon as I'd like know too. I'm curious if the switchable graphics causes issues.

im currently dual booting ubuntu and win7, ubuntu is pretty stable for the most part. when i first installed it though i ran into a little problem with sound but fixed it right away. everything else is fine but i would suggest to run it on the discrete gpu if you want to use the extra effects and what not in terms of appearance.

If you need Ubuntu every now and then but use Windows as your primary OS, then I would suggest VirtualBox. It's very convenient, and you won't need to worry about driver and alienfx issues.
