Hi, I've just bought this mini monster and I'm wondering what to do now to get i up to date.
Should i download drivers from alienware's site or go and install all of the drivers separately from nVidia's site and such?
    I have r2.

Also, is it recomended to download and install all of the newest drivers for chipset, bios etc from dells site?

get latest ones from nvidia and intel, as dell ones are outdated by a fair bit. wouldn't bother with other drivers, as i doubt they will make much of a difference.

Won't the new nVidia Drivers break the swapping ability of the GPU/Integrated video? I installed the ones from nvidia and couldn't switch... I had to do a complete wipe of drivers and boot in safe mode and reinstall the Dell Drivers... I know some people haven't had this issue, but some have. So you should be warned. (This also may just be the R1, which is what I have...)

Also, you could just turn the Intel card off (discrete mode in BIOS)... You would lose battery life, but who needs that :)

I've read something somewhere about uninstalling stuff that was pre installed by dell, to speed up booting process etc. Whats the deal with that?
