    Sniper: Ghost warrior Black screening

    So i got Sniper Ghost warrior on steam because of a recent sale, installed the game and when i start it... Nothing. Just a black screen, and the "Press tab + Shift to open steam" I can hear the audio, just cant see. I've tried running as admin, XP service pack.
    Any help as appreciated.

    Okay sorry, but i cant seem to rename the video.scr to .txt because t jsut ends up being video.txt.scr :c

    Post #11 at the bottom of the page has everything there. You can either copy everything in red or compare line for line with your current video.scr file.

    To rename the extension (scr-txt) go to control panel - folder options - view and de-select "Hide extensions for known file types".
    This will allow you to change the extension.

    I got the game to run execppt even on lowest settings it laggs horribly. like 11 fps.

    I am getting into the 20's and low 30's with a drop into the high teens every once in a while. I am OC to 166MHz and using Throttlestop. No GPU OC.
    The game is pretty flaky though, using FRAPs cause the scene to restart everytime a hotkey is pushed.

    well i did everything i found the video.src i changed it edited it
    and when i try to save it i get Access denied.

    what can i do about it? please help me
