    Hi guys.

I have an M15x but need something lighter to travel with and play games.

Coukld you tell me how good the M11x is with upto date games, throw me some fps in random games please.

Also how is the battery life? (not for gaming ofc).

Dell have this at £450 stock on their website and the moment, with the 1.3ghz duo.

Also any known issues that you guys are aware of would help.

    Cheers!!!

I had this one a while ago, and stupidly sold it, will be ordering again as soon as my refund from dell comes though.

I ran battlefield bad company 2 ok on it, wasn't great even on low settings, if your happy to upgrade the ram, swap the hdd for an ssd then they are pretty nippy, if your not going to use it for full on gaming they are great but don't expect to run games on full with them, but saying that i think they have better graphics cards now.

the m11x r1 with the core 2 duo su7300 @1.3 stock is a great machine to play many many games, you can enable oc on the BIOS to 1.6 ghz (cpu-z verified) and play games better, I play from Borderlands maxed out, in heavy load drops maybe to 18, but most of the game runs around 27-30
fallout 3 maxed out, plays smooth
    magicka plays smooth
batman arkhan asylum, excelent game and plays so smooth

the only game I have problem is BFBC2 online games, because there is a lot of building exploding, the cpu lags here, maybe drops to 12-15
every other game I've tried works very nice

portal, teamfortress, counter strike run awesome
starcraft 2 with mid/high setting plays smooth around 30 fps

Its a very portable computer with nice specs you sure will like to play with friends and I play on the university lol
battery life for m11x r1 with nvidia off I get around 7hours surfing on the web

with nvidia on maybe 3.5 hours of gaming
