    Hello people,

Just found this forum and I am a proud owner of an Alienware M11xr2.

I was wondering if someone could give me the basic "how to" setup for my laptop so it runs at its best performance for a beginner? I use the NVIDIA control panel and have the games I want it to use selected and all seems to be good as of now but I want to know if I am missing something to have this thing running at peak settings?
    Thanks

Maybe turn on the overclock in bios and see how it runs? Do the R2's have that?

Otherwise, as long as you're on the Nvidia chip and are running the latest drivers, you're good to go. Any other "tweaks" you can do in that Nvidia control panel are of only marginal benefit, and you're better off doing those tweaks in the games yourself. Its always a tradeoff of performance vs visual quality anyway.
