Ok having all sorts of issues on the forums today. First search didn't work then I got a blank thread.

Anyone installed Server 2008 R2 on there m11x R3? I want to take a class that requires a laptop with 2008 R2 installed and seems like this machine would be the easiest to carry around.

Looks like I specifically need to be able to use Hyper V as well.

Windows 2008 r2 Server should work just like Win7.

In fact, there's a whole website dedicated to turning it into a functional Win7 computer without losing the server side. I ran it on my MBP in BootCamp for months and months. I played games and everything. I had a real hard time getting bluetooth to work, but it's been a while since I used it and maybe they've fixed some things.

Convert your Windows Server 2008 R2 to a Workstation! -

Hyper V is just the software for all intents and purposes (like VMWare) that you can run virtual machines in. Supposedly it operates on a lower hardware level then others.

Looks like it's working for the most part. Got 2 unknown devices and no luck on the bluetooth, not that I really need it anyway.
