Whenever I leave my m11x r2 on for a long time, sometimes the screen goes black and won't come back on. The laptop is still on but the screen is non-responsive. I have to hard reboot to get the screen working again. Can someone help me figure out what might cause this?

On research I believe it has something to do with alienfusion. Check this thread out and hopefully it'll be the solution.

I hope that helps. Let me know if that sorts it, Tom.

Hi thom, maybe you just need to make sure that the switchable mode on your graphics card is enabled.

All you need to do to check on this is:

    - reboot your system
    - as soon as you see the post screen with the alienhead press F2 to get into the system BIOS
    - go to the advance tab
    - switch the "Graphics mode" over to "Switchable"

    That should fix it.

Click here so you can see the image of who it’s supposed to look like.

Let me know how it goes.
