I was wondering what you guys think is the best screen recorder that teh M11x will be able to handle. For example recording League of Legends replays.

From experience, FRAPS slows framerate too much. WeGame is decent, bad quality but very little space taken up and I can play the game.

Any recommendations? I plan on doing some commentaries as well.

Hook it to an tv/monitor and record it using a dvr or just lower the resolution, take out AA/vsync. I tried many screen recorders, and FRAPS is probably the best choice.

FRAPs is definatly the best. If you record no sound as well has 'half-size' at 29.97 FPS you wont see much performance decrease....

Any third party record program will hit your performance. The only thing I can think of is if the game has a built in frame-by-frame capture like in Crysis or Counter-Strike Source.

Thanks guys, Fraps takes up a huge amount of space D:

Also when I set the recording to 60fps, it runs fine then after a 1 minute or so it begins to drop to 1-2fps; is it something with the M11x or just a bug i nthe program? I'm testing it out with LoL

Fraps releases new updates each week. Its actually really really buggy so I wouldnt be surprised.

If you hasn't found a satisfied program to help you record video of screen with high quality, you can try this one.

    1. It can help you record in a long time period, so you can explain the way to use the product as detailed as possible, making user better understand.

2.The program can record external voice, and help sync the audio with video, which makes the recordings more vivid.

3.It helps you save the recorded video to standard video format file, so you needn’t to use another video converter to edit the video.
