Everytime I start up my m11x, I get the following message.

"The program can't start because STXml.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

What can I do to fix this? and is it dangerous?

It is the scheduler for Dell DataSafe Local Backup. It is one of the bloatware programs that comes with your computer.

You can either uninstall / reinstall that program (you can find the link to re-install on http://support.dell.com), or you can just uninstall it and leave it uninstalled.

If you do choose to leave the program uninstalled, be sure to find another way to keep your data backed up.

Thanks for the reply. I decided to reinstall it, but theres a problem... I can't find the program when I look for it in Control Panel. I also couldn't find it in Program Files. Is it a hidden file? If so, how can I find it?

If it's a service then it likely installed itself into your windows directory and won't show in control panel, that's why you don't see it.

I checked the customization on the website, and I found out that I didn't get Dell DataSafe Local Backup installed for me. So why am I still getting this popup?
