    SSD for Boot and HD for storage (internally) possible?

    I know the arguments ssd vs HD continue ad nauseum but I can't find a thread addressing if having them BOTH installed internally is possible. I imagine space and connections to be the limiting factors but I think it would be the IDEAL setup.
    Possible?

    i don't think there would be enough room in the m11x unless somehow you can use a 1.8" ssd and it can squeeze in there. i doubt there are two connections

    Not feasible. Its a 12 inch laptop and already doesn't have a optical drive.

    Your only option is to look at a mini-PCI-E for an SSD, but those are pretty slow as far as read and write.

    Remove the battery then that should free up some space, not sure if there are other sata ports.

    You might be able to replace the battery with a smaller unit
