    SD Card Reader noticing memory card some times

    My R1 the SD Card Reader is only noticing the memory card once in a while. The other day I put it in the slot and it noticed it and then yesterday and today I put it in and it does not recognize it. I use this feature alot and when it doesn't work it is not good.

    Is this a common problem with the R1's? It is in the device manager and when I scan for new devices in there it doesn't show anything new.

    What do I do?

    Silly questions first: Are you sure it's not the card itself, i.e. have you tried another card with your m11x or have you read this card without trouble on another computer?

    I haven't heard too many people having problems with the card reader, but assuming it's not the card, looks like you'll have to call support because the reader is probably dying. You could try uninstalling/reinstalling drivers, but I doubt that will help.

    called Dell and having a tech come out to install a new SD Card and Blutooth board in it.
