Sorry for such a basic question, but how can I restore to factory settings? I have been getting random BSOD's and the laptop is not running like it once was. I'd like to start from scratch.
If I restore to factory settings will I loose the Alienware programs? Thank you in advance and sorry for such a basic question.

Just run Alien respawn from your programs list or Dell Datasafe local (if R1) and choose the option to restore factory settings.
